![]() But intervention by Gandalf (we learn that he conquered the fiery Balrog and emerged as Gandalf the White) restores Theoden to full health. The Rohan monarch, King Theoden, has had his mind poisoned by a traitorous advisor named Grima Wormtongue, leaving Theoden incapable of ruling his people. In the process, they encounter horsemen of Rohan and visit a kingdom facing extermination at the hands of Saruman’s Uruk-hai army. With the fellowship broken, warriors Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli embark on a rescue mission, tracking the detachment of battle-bred Orcs that made off with Merry and Pippin. Let’s jump right in-as the film does-to the second act in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I love that u watch this. The confrontation of good vs. It is honestly the greatest trilogy out there LOTR adn Tolkens universe is such a cinematic master piece. keep up the good work and thx for the effort! OBVIOUSLY a lot of things had to be skipped/edited/abridged, but in general, yes. LOTR was the first and so far only one that matched or surpassed it. always fell flat compared to my expectations. I've always been really disappointed in book to movie adaptations, since they didn't match my imagination, the character designs/personalities, locations etc. I'm confident there will not be another trilogy that comes closes to this. "He turned him into a horse" will never not be funny to me. So you can actually go to "Rivendell" and I am sure they have Wifi there. I guess because of the many waterfalls and the steep walls. I read somewhere that Tolkien's inspiration for Rivendell was Lauterbrunnen Valley. 16, maybe? but it was a bit of a "laborious" read (although I did like the story) and then idk i just never had the time until now :D Tried to read the hobbit when i was like. Lol when i was younger i couldn't sit still long enough to watch a movie like this, and then by the time i was older i was already behind on the first two so i didn't feel the hype for the third. If you watch the 2nd and 3rd Movie, you should definitly try to look out for the Extended Edition, they give some more Material and nice Extra Scenes ( for the 3rd Movie alone, i think the Extra Scenes make the Movie 30 to 45 Minutes longer) ^^ Hopefully you can do some more reactions in the future of classic movies like these. This is the best movie trilogy of all time hands down(I am looking at you Godfather Part 3 u piece of shit □) Still blows my mind that being born in the 90s you hadn't watched it before. (Doesn't have to be the extended editions imo). Haven't seen the reaction yet but i hope you enjoyed it and you will watch the rest of the trilogy. Sorry to ask, but why do you call Boromir - "Ned" ? Im curious but how does one sponsor something to be viewed? When Kayla said "just PUSH him into the fire." I know what Kayla would have done if she were on the glass bridge playing Squid Games. Besides, AFAIK, that was a movie only scene, it was never stated if they went together to Mt. There're essays written and recorded about it, but it could be summed up in two main points: no one was fully aware of how dangerous the ring really was and how key would eventually become for Sauron's survival and comeback later on and if Elrond would in fact had pushed Isildur into the fire, it might've caused an open war between elves and men for who knows how long. Wait is this the first movie I’ve never actually seen any of the moviesĪs to why Elrond didn't just push Isildur into the fire with the ring. ![]() Not all theaters did this but some, like my local theater, did. 15 minutes due to making sure all 300+ patrons were able to have time to leave and come back. My local cinema had a 15 minute intermission for people to get up and get refills and go to the bathroom. So I watched all 3 in theaters and you asked how did we sit through all 3 hrs and mentioned going to the bathroom.
