![]() 1 Crusader/4 Cleric/10 Ruby Knight/5 Cleric or Prestige Cleric. My suggestion is simply to aim for the Ruby Knight (Win)Vindicator prestige class. awesome that kicks in at 12th level, 8th level, even 5th level may not be as pertinent as the power we need to survive the first four or so. In particular, if we're heading up the mountain pretty rapidly (which I think we probably want to be) we may manage to get to the top at a relatively low level. Question for QM - do you support LA buyback?Īlso, another thing to note for the players in general - we don't know the level cap on this one. Mind you, I'm not supporting this - the dispel vulnerability is noticeable, and I just plain don't want to load up on vancian casting, but I'm not about to pretend that casting day-long buff spells on yourself and all your friends is a bad thing. Speaking of which, depending on how much the appropriate buff spells cost in material components, a one-level dip into War Weaver starts looking *awfully* good for a guy who likes casting a lot of daylong buffs on himself. which, as it turns out, neatly pays for VoP and the unbudgeted Extend Spell) and get a second spellcasting class in there. Obviously, the buffs stack quite nicely with anything that has built-in combat power, but we could also go wizard to free up a few of those feat slots (three, to be precise. Might be interesting to think about things to gestalt it with. On the bright side, it's a clear front-line competitor (as long as the buffs aren't dispelled) that has built-in healing ability. It would also be nice to grab VoP at first level, because VoP at first level is likely to be solid gold in this campaign, but that sets us back two *more* feats, which starts getting pretty ugly, pretty quick. It's weak to enemies who can dispel the buffs, which I suspect a decent number of demons can (someone check me on this?). Click to shrink. As noted, the build as-is is not legal, as Pelor doesn't get planning domain, and thus needs to spend a feat for Extend Spell.
